About the Journal

Therya is published quarterly, including articles from original scientific investigations, in Spanish or English, on the knowledge of mammals. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed following a double-blind system that warrants top-quality standards. Therya is listed as an international-quality journal in the Excellence List at Mexico's National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT).

The wolf (Canis lupus) is one of the main predators of the boreal parts of the continents. In many places in the world it has been extirpated and its current populations are restricted to different isolated areas in North America, Europe, and Asia.
